Zooki founders make LDC's Ones to Watch list

Zooki founders Jack and Marcus were recognised in LDC’s 2021 Ones to Watch list of exceptional entrepreneurs “destined for great things”.

This year, LDC received more nominations than ever as people showed their support for UK small businesses that persevered throughout the difficult year of 2020.

As the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, LDC focuses on backing ambitious businesses and entrepreneurs. In partnership with The Times, LDC has been curating this annual list for four years now.

LDC sums it up: “This year’s Top 50 is a tale of resilience, determination, strategic excellence and export success. These founders and chief executives have overcome extraordinary challenges in the past 18 months to keep growing their organisations. They will all have a vital part to play in the UK’s economic recovery.”

John Garner of LDC explains: “It’s good to see that the challenges of the last 18 months have not dampened the dynamism and entrepreneurialism of the UK’s business leaders. They’ve shown innovation across all areas, proving that difficult times are a catalyst for adaptation and new opportunities.”

Within the same week, Zooki was also listed as 33rd on the Startups 100 list. Read more about it here.

Jack, co-founder of Zooki, says: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be listed in LDC’s Ones to Watch round up and we really appreciate the support as a small business.”
